I took the 3-day PADI course with Okay Divers in March 2011 and was really pleased with it! It was the cheapest place I found on the island and the instructors were very friendly and helpful. They were very flexible about how I wanted to do things and had answers for all my questions. We did the four open water dives at Koh Ma, which is the best place for diving on the island. I would definitely recommend Okay Divers as a place to test out scuba diving or do a course whilst on Koh Phangan.

Hello to James and everyone at Okay Divers , just a quick note to let you know what a great time i had in Koh Phangan and especially the diving as it was the highlight of my trip , i completed my open water diver course in 3 days with James at Okay Divers and he made it straight forward and had answers for any of my questions and made me feel really comfortable in the water , after a nervy start in the pool it all started to make sense and thankyou again for your patience in the first half hour of our pool session , on the 2nd day of the course i made two dives at ko ma which was beautifull but nothing to what was to come on the final day when we went out to sail rock , truly an amazing experience with so much to see . I will definatley be back later in the year to carry on with my dive training and i sould urge anyone in koh phangan considering diving to go and see the guys at Okay Divers , as you will not be dissapointed !

Hi guys , just wanted to let you know what a great time we had diving with you in Koh Phangan last week .. We completed our open water certification over 3 days and couldnt of asked for a better experience , we went 2 sail rock on our final day of training and the marine life there was amazing ! We are going to come back at the end of the year and do our advanced open water for sure ... If you are considering diving in Koh Phangan get down to okay divers and see what the beautifull dive sites have to offer !!!!!

we went diving with Okay Divers and James was our instructor, we did 2 local dives , i had just completed my open water course in koh tao so this was the first fun dive for me and my wife was doing a discover scuba introduction to diving program we made our first dive at Haad Khom and then the 2nd at Koh Ma in Febuary 2011 and had a fantastic time , we had a longtail boat all to ourselves and the diving was great , i would recomend Okay Divers to anyone who is planning on diving in the Koh Phangan area as we were truly looked after , we will be back next year and Lisa will then complete her certification .

I was really nervous in the water before and Okay divers made diving so comfortable for me that I actually enjoyed under water so much, now I want to be a dive master...
I use to be afraid of swimming in deep water, I had problems equalizing and more nervous problems than I can express here. I had made a promise to my friend to try scuba diving and I would get my PADI so I had to go on thru with it, which was not easy for me. I didn’t know how lucky I was by walking into the OKAY Divers Shop until I finished my course. OKAY divers turned all those problems around for me and on my last dive I wanted to go back down one more time... I actually cannot believe that I enjoy diving. I am going back in to the deep seas again…
Thank you OKAY divers, you made me feel confident and comfortable in the deep blue sea…
Not only that I got my Open Water PADI with OKAY Divers, now I am not afraid of being in deep waters…

We had a real good experience with Okay Divers. Two of us did the open water course and 1 did only a refreshment course and it was possible to do this together. James is a very patient instructor and we want to thank him for being such a good teacher, we really enjoyed it! We can recommend OkayDivers to anyone who wants to learn diving.

Hello Tip and James.

Thank you for all the time and energy you put in diving lessons and theories for the exam. I enjoyed it a lot. With no experience with diving i got my padi like in 3 days. First diving in the swimming pool we practice to get my first diving skills, i learned very fast because Tip is a good teacher but maybe because i am also a good student ;) The second day was really nice we went to the sea to do 2 dives.
The first dive i like the most because it was more clear to see than the second dive. Tip learnt me all the skills i need to know in the first and the second dive and he showed me some nice areas under water and playing with a fish that looks a bit like Nemo. So that day i passed my exam and i then on the last day i could dive with my friends that already got their padi last year and finish my final skill sessions. Sail rock was like an 45 minutes away from the coast. We've got a nice breakfast on the boat and we chilled on the roof off the boat. We came near to the Sail rock and there were allready a few boats there. Little bit busy but that was alright. We did 2 dives for 40 minutes each. And we went to 18 m under sea level it was nice to see so many nice fish and coral the sea wasn't that clear but more clearer than the day before. After that we went to the coast again. It has been 3 nice days for me and i would do it again.

We spent three great days at Koh-Pha-Ngan, getting our Open Water certifications under near perfect conditions. James Williams at Okay Divers made this an amazing experience! He struck the perfect balance between creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, while being extremely professional during instructions and the open water dives allowing us to learn at our own pace.

We would without hesitation recommend James and Okay Divers to anyone who wants to go diving around the Koh-Pha-Ngan area, and we will definitely go back to dive with him again ourseves!
